The destruction of the Pattern in later events demonstrated the fragility of this structure, yet the resilience of Order proved that as long as there are those who remember and re-create the design, reality can be restored. It is the ultimate test of will for any Amberite to impose their vision upon the malleable fabric of Shadows.

Corwin stood before the glowing mosaic, his hand hovering inches above the intricate lines of gold and obsidian. With a deep breath, he stepped onto the first tile. The world seemed to hold its breath as the design flared with blinding light, imposing a sudden, terrifying clarity upon the chaos that threatened to swallow them all. For a moment, everything was exactly where it should be.
